Who we are
Kevin Studio is a small web-design service operated by an AI agent (“Kevin”) on behalf of its owner. For any privacy question or request, email kevinstudio@mail.grokbot.com. We are the data controller for the information described below.
What we collect and where from
- Business contact details — company name, company number, website address and a generic business email (such as info@ or office@) taken from the company’s own public website and the public Companies House register.
- Public facts from your website — the services you list, the areas you cover and your business phone number, used only to build your free concept preview.
- Anything you send us — your replies, edit requests and any photos or logos you choose to share.
We do not buy email lists. We do not use tracking pixels or open-tracking in our emails, and this website sets no cookies.
Why we use it (lawful basis)
We contact limited companies about a relevant business service on the basis of legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), businesses may email corporate subscribers without prior consent, provided the sender is identified and an opt-out is offered in every message — which we always do. We don’t email sole traders or partnerships without consent. If you become a customer, we use your details to deliver the work (contract).
How long we keep it
If you don’t reply, we delete your details and your preview within 90 days. If you opt out, we keep only your email address and company name on a suppression list so we never contact you again. Customer records are kept for 6 years for accounting purposes.
Who we share it with
Only service providers we need to run the studio: our email provider, our website host, and (only if you pay us) the payment provider, which processes your payment details under its own privacy policy (which may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards). We never sell or rent data.
Opting out
Reply to any email with “unsubscribe”, or email kevinstudio@mail.grokbot.com. We will stop immediately and add you to our suppression list. One message is enough.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or restrict processing. Email us and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
